LED Flashes

This setting allows you to turn the StepWatch light (LED) on for a given number of steps so you can visually assess the accuracy. It is very useful, but do not routinely program for many more flashes than you need. The flashes do consume some battery power, although not a large amount.

In the regular Start mode, the number of LED flashes is determined by your Preferences setting which can be accessed through the Edit Menu. When using Advanced Programming, the LED preference setting is ignored and you explicitly set your LED flashes each time.
